I love working with people in all stages and phases of life. I am honored to hear and hold the stories of my clients and their families and to get to know the rich and complex texture of their lives, longings, fears and dreams.

I have a master’s in counseling psychology from The Wright Institute, where I received formal education and training in psychotherapy. I know that therapy is as effective as the relationship we are able to establish with one another (and ultimately, with ourselves). For that reason, my approach focuses on creating a trusting environment for courageous exploration and meaning-making. If you’re curious about theory, my approach is client-centered and trauma-informed. I incorporate attachment theory, object relations and narrative therapy principles in my work.

Growing up in the Bay Area, I was born into a family of creatives and surrounded by diverse lifestyles and perspectives on healing. I’m grateful for the many voices that have shaped and illuminated my own perspective on therapy over the years. I don’t think there is one “right way” to go inward, and I see my role as one where I support you in finding what works best for you. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in media production and artist management, helping artists to make sustainable lives through their creative work. I weave my respect for individuality, unique self-expression, and the drive to seek meaning and create beauty from our burdens in all that I do.

Hi, I’m Gloria.

And I’m glad you’re here.
